Favourite Handbag Lipsticks

Today, I thought that I'd talk to you about the three lipsticks which you'll find inside my handbag at all times, I'm absolutely obsessed with these beauties!

From left to right, Rimmel London Apocalips in Nova, Mac Lipstick in Vegas Volt, Rimmel London Apocalips in Luna

Rimmel Apocalips in Luna
Rimmel Apocalips in Nova
I've owned these two shades of Rimmel London Apocalips, both Luna and Nova, for I'd say around 6-7 months now, but its only during the past two months, where I've been wearing them more and more, all the way through to the point where they now, both make very regular appearances into my handbag. In the images I'm wearing them full on, but bear in mind you can definitely sheer them out to make them more everyday appropriate for your preference. These are soft, creamy, and I do find them to be very long lasting. They retail for £6.49 a piece.

Now, I have shown this lippie in a post, or two before this one, which you can see both here and here. I just couldn't leave MACS Vegas Volt, which retails at a price of £15.50, out of Favourite Handbag Lipsticks. Just look at how gorgeous that shade is. This is the very first MAC Lipstick that I ever purchased around 4-5 years back, and I just know that it will continue to be a favourite for years to come. This is one of MACS amplified lippies, which means that it has such a silky, soft, creamy formula, which leaves the lips feeling so amazingly smooth and beautifully moisturised, making the lips look healthy and.. well enough of the blabbering it is just an overall lovely lipstick, which I know would look great on all skin tones, out of the three, I know that this is definitely my most reached. Seriously, if you havent tried it, do it now, go on, do it! I know you want to :D

I hope that you enjoyed this post guys, I'd love to hear what your favourite handbag lipsticks are in the comments below, I'm always looking to try new one's out :)

Ohh, and if you have any suggestions for future posts, please feel free to let me know!

Nike Haul

So, due to me and my bloke-y deciding to take the plunge into joining the near by gym, for they're workout facilities, pool and jacuzzi, I thought what better time to treat myself to some cute workout gear!

I'll start off with the boring, but not so boring bits.

You would not believe how much love I have for these trainer socks, I've never had socks so soft and comfy, its like wrapping your feel into clouds, which you would expect for £9.00 per three pack!

You can find them here.

Next up are some sports essentials;

I do like this first plain white sports bra, I reckon it would look nice with a brightly coloured tank over the top, there are plenty of other bright colour options though, if you would prefer something a bit more shocking.

Nike Pro Women's Sports Bra - £22.00

I'm sorry but how awesome is this second patterned one?! I mean, it is a little more pricey than the above sports bra, but look at it, just look at it..such a beautiful piece!

Nike Victory Compression Safari Women's Sports Bra - £30.00

Now, lets just admire these next few photographs just for a second...

 how incredible are these shoes?

I wasn't too sure about which size to get, because from the reviews that I was scrolling through, a lot of people said how they'd needed to go up half a size where as some others, had said about needing to go up a full size from they're usual shoe size. I'm normally a three, so I decided to order a three and a half. To my delight, they turned out perfect, and they are sooo darn comfortable, I've never worn trainers like it, I actually think that this is my favourite purchase from the year so far, no word of a lie, I am such a fan now! In fact I have already decided that I'm going to need to get a black, grey or white pair for normal day-to-day wear honestly if you try these, you'll never go back!

What's more, if this isn't quite you're colour, there are 10 other pre-sets to choose from, or from the site for an extra £30.00, you can completely customise every inch of colouring to your hearts content, from the base colour to the overlay to the swoosh, all the way through to the tongue and lining!

Nike Free 5.0 Women's Running Shoe - £90.00      Dri-FIT Graphic Training Socks - £9.00

I hope that you enjoyed looking through my recent purchases, I know that I certainly did!

I have a couple future posts planned, but by all means, if you have any requests what so ever, please feel free to leave them in the comments below:)

Topshop Lipsticks

Today I thought that I'd share with you, how I feel about the Topshop Lippies;
I only own two of these myself, but I figured that if you're, humming and haaring about purchasing one of these shades, then maybe this will help you, on your way to deciding.

Left - Ohh La La, Right - Innocent.

This is the first Topshop Lipstick in the shade Innocent, that I ever purchased possibly around 2-3 years back now, I used to absolutely love pink lippy shades, and this one was no exception, day in day out I would whack this one out of my stash and onto my lips, and if I were to go out it would always come along with me in my handbag, whether seeing friends, going shopping, or a stroll along the beach, just in case I needed a bit of a pick me up.

This Topshop Lipstick is in the shade Ohh La La, I'd been thinking about purchasing it for so long when I finally took the plunge, bought it, and featured it in my most recent Haul post. Its a very vibrant shade, which definitely comes out much more pinky, coraly on the lips than you'd think, after seeing it in the bullet, which looks much more orangey/reddy, for that reason I don't really think that this is a statement lip colour as such, but I really do feel that it looks perfect with almost any style of eye make-up, I'm just so in love with this shade since purchasing it, its fast become one of my most reached.

Both of the above lipsticks are so soft and creamy, they also have pretty good staying power, without drying out the lips. I find that not just these, but with any lipstick, it really is best to use a good moisturising balm around 15-20 minutes before applying, this will ensure that it applies looking nice and smooth rather than looking dry and patchy. You can check out my favourites here.

Hope you enjoyed this little read :)
Although I have a few post ideas, I'd be most grateful for any suggestions;

Product Empties #1

Heyy;

I have been collecting up my empty product packages into a little basket for quite a while now, but I think I've got just about enough at this point to post a decent sized product empties for you all, with a mini review for each one.

I hope you enjoy!

Neutrogena 2-in-1 Wash and Mask - £3.79

This Neutrogena 2-in-1 Wash and Mask has been a part of my facial cleansing routine for what must be 4-5 years now, it's one that I can honestly say I always go back to - and it works! I use it twice daily as a wash, and around once a week as a facial mask, if I gain any spots though, I will use it once a day for however long the spots last, normally no longer than 5 days depending on how stubborn it/they may be, which I think is amazing! I've already re-purchased this little gem.

Olay Satin Care Sensitive Shave Gel - £3.65

Although I have enjoyed using this Olay Satin Care Sensitive Shave Gel, as it makes your legs so so soft and smooth, I really don't feel that it's an essential that I really need. I do think that its cool though how when you press the button down located right at the top, it squirts out an almost aqua blue colour onto your hand, and as soon as it gets lathered onto your legs it transforms into this amazing soft white foam - well I think its cool anyway!

Dove Purely Pampering Cream Oil Body Wash - £2.40

Not gunna lie - I've already repurchased two more of these (couldn't find this exact one on the site), I'm not a fan of the original Dove scents at all, don't be fooled though if you're in the same boat, these smell so delicious you could gobble them up, don't though - that would be strange! This makes your skin feel so silky soft, The Purely Pampering Almond Cream with Hibiscus and also the Pampering Coconut Milk ones are very nice too, I definitely recommend :)

Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze Body Lotion - £5.35

Hmm, the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze Body Lotion..I don't really know how I feel about this one, although it makes your skin so soft as it doubles up as a - as the name suggests, a body lotion, and doesn't make you orange, I just feel that the scent puts me off, sometimes even after 2 showers I can still smell that biscuit-y smell just lingering on my skin, and I feel as though everyone around me can smell it too, its just not a great feeling, I still have another bottle to use up, but after that I think I'll try and find another to take its place.

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer - £5.99

I bought the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer when they had a deal on in Boots, I feel like it hasn't lasted me long at all, seeing as on the bottle it says there should be 30ml in there, I mean, its not like I go crazy when applying, and my make-up just doesn't seem to stay in place when I use this product, it pretty much disappears on my forehead in-between my eyebrows and around my mouth, the one that I'm using now is much better - let me know if you'd like to find out more :)

Loreal Fibrology Thickening Shampoo - £3.99

This shampoo was great when I was my natural shade of brunette, but the other day I went to the hair dressers and got my hair turned a dark-ish blonde, and for some reason because my hairs obviously dryer now, this shampoo just doesn't have the same softening, silkening result as it used to, such a shame.

I hope you enjoyed reading though this empties post,
Have you tried any of these products?
If so what did you think?

Any comments would be most appreciated :)

Haul #2

The past couple of weeks I've been feeling as though I havent had a chance, what so ever to sit back to have some 'me' time, I've actually had quite a bit going on in my life, some good changes, which may possibly be something to write about in a future post but for now, let me show you what I treated myself to!

I absolutely love this tee that I ordered from Miss Selfridge, I can see it now, teamed with a pair of my favourite blue ripped jeans and some VANS shoes for a casual day time look, or perhaps tucked into a pencil skirt with heels for an evening out, perfect!

Monochrome Scratch Print Tee - £25.00

I've never ordered from Forever 21 before, and I never normally go for prints like this one, the main reason being, trying to find something to wear for my best friends birthday night out themed 1950's, when I saw this skort I thought that it would fit in quite nicely, I really do think that its something I could wear again if the mood were to take me.

Garden Goddess Pleated Skort - £12.75

All of my remaining items for this haul are from the amazing store which is Topshop.

This first dress (couldn't find the petite version on the site) I've been eyeing up since it first appeared both on the site and in store, I always would have loved it in the white, but for some reason they have only ever had the petite version of this dress in the grey, after what seems like months... I decided to give in, I just feel like this is a piece which could be paired with absolutely anything!

Strappy Cami Tunic Dress - £12.00

This dress would be perfect for a night out, paired with some black heels, a red clutch and a coating of red lippy, ohh yeaah! I cannot wait to get some use out of this one, I tried it on, and I love how the stripes make my body look that little bit curvier.

Petite Exclusive Stripe Bodycon Tunic - £28.00

As you can probably tell, right now I am loving the monochrome trend, you just cant go wrong with it! This is probably a strange reason to love an item on clothing, but I really like how the stripes on the pocket go in a completely different direction to the ones on the rest of the tee, and that neck line! I think its so sexy when you can show off a bit of shoulder whilst wearing a casual tee.

Stripe Raglan Tee - £16.00

What can I even say about this top? I love! Isn't that print just something else?! Its slightly cropped, so I can see this teamed with a pair of high waisted skinny jeans for a lovely day time look, yes, yes...I love jeans, you've got me!

Abstract Floral Print Scallop Vest - £15.00

If you've been following my blog for a little while, you'd know that I have a bit of a thing for orange lippies, and this little number is no exception!

Topshop Lipstick in Ohh La La - £8.00

I hope that you enjoyed looking and reading through this post;

If you'd like to see what any of these items look like on, a review and swatches of the lippie, or if you have any requests for future posts which you'd like to see on this space, please do let me know in the comments below :) I'd be more than happy to sort that out!
